Intrigued by yourt beer talk on SOUND CHECK, and thought I’d share something new in my brewing life. I recently added Artemesia (wormwood) as an additional bittering/flavoring/mind expanding agent to a beer I’d brewed using Birch tree sap (not syrup) in place of water; fresh maple syrup for corn sugar. Great brew; bitterness too strong for some. solution: Customization. Serve w/option of maple or birch syrup shots drizzled over the creamy, foamy head. Looked like a latte w/caramel topping but so much better.
